Arrested for threatening plane crash in America
A pilot stole a plane in the US state of Mississippi. The incident took place in the West Main area of the city of Tupelo. After this, the pilot threatened to crash it at a Walmart store here. As a precaution, the police evacuated the store and its surrounding area. The plane hovered over the city with a population of 40 thousand for about 5 hours.
But after the fuel ran out, the pilot landed it in the field. The pilot has been taken into custody. But no information has been found about his identity. According to a CNN report, the pilot is about 29 years old and is an employee of Tupelo Regional Airport.
Threatened by calling the emergency number,
the aircraft named Beechcraft King Air-90 was stolen from Tupelo Airport. It is a double engine 9 seater plane. Police said the pilot called emergency number 911 and threatened to crash the plane at Walmart. The police was successful in getting in touch with the pilot.
All emergency services in the area were put on alert in view of the danger. It is not yet clear what the intention of the pilot is. People were instructed to stay away from the West Main area due to fear of danger.
